Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) was originally developed to improve the quality of life for those living with anxiety, pain, and illness. In this eight-week program, participants will learn to heighten their awareness and to live more fully, moment to moment, through a series of mindfulness practices. This program will help people who suffer from stress, anxiety, chronic pain and illness, fatigue, and high blood pressure. Participants will learn techniques and take practice in mindful meditation, yoga and light stretching, mindful communication and group discussion, as well as home practice and assignments.
