The Cowichan Valley Regional District (CVRD)'s Economic Development Cowichan office has received support letters for conducting an air transport feasibility study. This study would examine the business case for developing new air transport services in the Cowichan region based on the growing population of the region, the evolution of the region's air transport needs over time, the relationship between air transport and public safety/emergency management and the opportunities for supporting sector growth in the region.
