This beautiful Mayo Lake Park near Skutz Falls by the Cowichan River is a popular fishing spot for children and seniors. The lake itself measures 8.4 hectares in surface area and has been provincially stocked with rainbow trout since 1988. There is an age restriction on Mayo Lake permitting only anglers who are 16 years of age or younger, or anglers with a valid Non-Tidal Angling Licence indicating either BC Senior or BC Disabled status.
