How to Get There SwimmingTrails
Head west off of Trans-Canada Highway onto Cowichan Valley Highway (Highway 18), then right onto Hillcrest Rd (road turns into a gravel road).

History

Chemainus River Provincial Park was established in 1959 and was obtained by the CVRD through a lease agreement with BC Parks in 2002. The park is currently managed under the Regional Parks function.
