Welcome to CVRD's Park Bookings and Reservations

Depending on what you’d like to do, it may require a picnic shelter reservation, park booking, or a special event permit.  Review the following options available.

Reserve a Picnic Shelter

There are picnic shelters in a number of CVRD parks, but there are only three shelters available by reservation for exclusive group use. Two shelters are located in Bright Angel Park and one at Glenora Trails Head Park.

Special Event Permit Application

If your proposed event will exceed 60 people or has set up requirements a Special Event Permit Application must be completed.  Applications must be submitted no less than 45 days prior to the proposed event date. Submission of an application does not guarantee approval, so the earlier you apply, the earlier the CVRD can advise you on whether or not your special event request will be approved.
The following application can be downloaded and filled out.
